Mary Visaggio: It is a Joy to be serving as Director of New Creations Preschool, here at Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church. A little information about me: I am blessed to be the mother of three grown daughters Nicola, Ann and Toni, they are caring and professional women of whom I am very proud. I am also happy to be grandmother to nine energetic and sweet grandchildren. I moved out to Texas to be near my daughters and their growing families in 2006; I completed my education and Graduated from UNT University in May 2009 with a Bachelors of Social Work (BSW) and worked with the State of Texas DFPS for a time after interning with them for six months. I have attended Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church since 2006; and I have been a member of the teaching staff here at New Creations Preschool for the past seven years. I have enjoyed many years of experience working with children in other various schools I have been employed by; and have spent many hours volunteering through Girls Scouts and various other Children’s Ministries

I am looking forward to this School Year, and I am dedicated to working closely with our wonderful staff at New Creations Preschool to provide a positive, caring and Christ centered learning experience for each one of our children. I hope you will join me in asking for the Lord’s blessings over our children and our staff as we begin the 2017-2018 School Year

We strive to offer professional and dedicated teachers who aspire to high standards of excellence. Our teachers are required to complete an eight-hour pre-service teacher training course offered by the acclaimed Campfire USA organization. To ensure your child’s safety, all teachers at New Creations are also required to undergo thorough background checks and become certified in CPR and American Red Cross First Aid. We also attend a Lutheran sponsored Early Childhood Education seminar annually for up-to-date teaching techniques. We are part of the Missouri Synod Lutheran schools system and we abide by their standards for teaching.

Each of our teachers comes to us with a rich background in Sunday School teachings, parenting and now preschool teaching. Your children are important to us and we strive to uphold a strong Christian atmosphere in our lessons and music. We would also like to work hand in hand with our parents to be partners in their child’s early Christian academic life.
