Michelle Domin: I have worked at Holy Shepherd the past two years, and I am excited and passionate to be the Director of New Creations Preschool. I have an M.A. in Theology with a Deaconess Certification from Concordia Theological Seminary, and I love that I am able to use my training to specialize in Early Childhood Education and Family Ministry. Every child is made in the image of God, and because of that we treat each child with dignity and respect. We strive to give them a strong foundation both academically and spiritually in their first years before Kindergarten. With two young children of my own, I value the loving environment that New Creations has to offer. Our teachers love their students!

We strive to offer professional and dedicated teachers who aspire to high standards of excellence. Our teachers are required to complete an eight-hour pre-service teacher training course offered by the acclaimed Campfire USA organization. To ensure your child’s safety, all teachers at New Creations are also required to undergo thorough background checks and become certified in CPR and American Red Cross First Aid. We also attend a Lutheran sponsored Early Childhood Education seminar annually for up-to-date teaching techniques. We are part of the Missouri Synod Lutheran schools system and we abide by their standards for teaching.

Each of our teachers comes to us with a rich background in Sunday School teachings, parenting and now preschool teaching. Your children are important to us and we strive to uphold a strong Christian atmosphere in our lessons and music. We would also like to work hand in hand with our parents to be partners in their child’s early Christian academic life.
